Location Information

On the last page you may have noticed several different types of locations:

Type of Location What Does it Mean
Checked Out The item is checked out of the libray and unavailable
Circulating Collection The library's main book collection. You will find Call Numbers A-H on the second floor of the library and J-Z on the lower level of the building.
Reference The library's most frequently used collection. You will find Almanacs, Encyclopedia's, Dictionary's, and Bibles here. The entire reference collection is found on the main floor of the library.
Media Storage This location includes any audio/video material and is located behind the circulation desk. Give the call number of the item to the circulation desk staff for them to get the item for you.
Reserve Items listed under reserve are kept behind the circulation desk and can only be checked out for a short designated period of time.
Internet OR Ebook Some items are government documents or electronic books and are accessible directly through the catalog. Simply click on the catalog tab, then click the link to access the material.
IMCJUV/IMCTEXT These items are used mainly by Education students and are not meant for research since they are children's reading materials. These can be found in a separate section on the lower floor of the building.
Periodical These are locations in the library where current journals are located in alphabetical order by title of journal.
Leisure Our Leisure Reading collection, located on the second floor in the back of the library.
