Full Text

The complete electronic text of an article is called the full text. Some databases, like Proquest Central, Wilson Omnifile and Academic Search Premier, provide entire articles online.

There are two different kinds of full-text available.

HTML- provides only the text of the article- no graphics. The page numbers in HTML articles are not the same as the print version of the article.

PDF- is the exact copy of the print version of the article. All graphics are reproduced and the page numbers are the same as in the print version.

In short: If you have the choice, always choose PDF.
